SARA RAY - GOOD ARTWORK FOR BAD PEOPLE!
Jon
checked in with IcedEarth.com this morning to let everyone know that he is
working with a fabuluous artist in Califonia who is custom painting many
of Jon's guitars. Her name is Sara Ray and her portfolio is available on
her website.
Not
only can Sara give your guitar a custom look, she can also customize your
amps, cases, and even your motorcylce! We'll be posting photos of the guitars
when they are finished with a little more about Sara and the process involved
in creating the custom art for Jon's guitars. Says Jon, "Sara has an incredible
style and I look forward to showcasing the guitars at some very special shows
later in 2008!" The photo above is one of Sara's previous works that caught
Jon's eye.

BRENT SMEDLEY ISSUES FIRST ROAD RAGE REPORT OF 2008.
Drummer
Brent Smedley checks in with his thoughts and observations after the band's
first gig reunited with Matt Barlow. "So, onto the show! The crowd
was absolutely amazing! We were told it was the biggest attendance ever for
a concert here. The band played extremely well and the audience seemed to
eat up every note. It was a great return gig for Matt and an awesome first
gig for Freddie. Several times the crowd broke into chants of "Welcome
Matt". Everyone seems to be very pleased with the return of Matt on

CHICAGO POWERFEST PHOTOS POSTED.

was at Chicago Powefest on
May 2 to capture the band's first gig with Matt Barlow in over five years,
and it's first with bassist Freddie Vidales. You can view the photos here.
Many thanks to Chris, Rob, and John of CRJ Productions for all their hospitality,
and a huge dose of gratitude for all the fans in Chicago and those who traveled
far-and-wide to make a very special evening for us even more memorable.
A run of dates for the USA is being finalized for the Fall of 2008, and will
be announced here as soon as they are all confirmed. So hang tight and we
hope to see you again very soon! Our next gigs are in Quebec City (May 9)
