"I started out playing guitar when I was thirteen.  A friend of mine played drums and we got together to jam the usual Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer tunes. We started our first band in Arizona (called Mausoleum) in our junior year of high school.

"Due to an abundance of available guitar players and lack of bassists, I switched instruments to keep the band going. We later changed the band name to Infusion and released two self-produced albums and appeared on several compilations. Infusion ended in 2005 when I moved to Texas. Less than 3 years later I auditioned for Iced Earth and am now here sharing this brief history with you.

"Other bands I've played with include Powerslave (Iron Maiden tribute), Raining Blood (Slayer tribute), St. Madness, Travail (now Motive), Exiled, Non-Xistence.  In addition to being a musician, I'm also a licensed Civil Engineer and have been working in that field for almost 20 years."
